The field of narrative practice is one of continual innovation. This has been true since its earliest days and is true today. In this keynote, Cheryl White will share stories to explain the conditions and principles that sparked early innovations. Narrative practitioners/scholars, Kylie Dowse, Anthony Newcastle and Vanessa Davis will share stories about their current Aboriginal narrative practice innovations. And David Denborough will theorise how these current innovations illustrate different pathways and politics of creativity. It is hoped that this keynote will offer thinking tools for sparking innovations in diverse contexts.
